What are the BAD things about Illusion Mage?

There are 2 main concerns that I had about this product.
• The first being the amount of time it takes for the downloads to complete in the member’s area. They are pretty large, but this is due to the amount of material that Seth is giving you. Seth does offer a DVD version so you could avoid this problem altogether.

• Secondly, I had read many reviews saying that Illusion Mage was blender software rehashed. I was very concerned initially that this was just a scam and decided to check it out in some detail. Seth openly states that he uses blender software in his package which is a superb program. But the real value of the complete package comes with Seth’s state of the art video tutorials. The step-by-step training videos are like having a professional animation graphics trainer constantly in the room with you and that’s hard to put a price on.

‘How I Discovered the Best Animation Software’ as revealed by Seth Avery

So you’re considering purchasing some 3D computer animation software. I would like to take the liberty in assuming that you have looked into the big names like Maya or 3D Max? Maybe even the free software that is freely available to download like blender?

One of my favorite bits of animation at the movies is liquid simulation and it shows you how to do this and how to create models of human faces and cartoon characters. There are so many different techniques, it must be great fun (especially if you have kids – they love that stuff!).

How to make a living from 3D Animation

If you have ever dreamed of running your own a 3D animation business, but saw it as only a pipe dream, you may be pleased to know that it may not be such a crazy idea after all.

There is a very high demand for good creative 3D animators. What with the video industry, advertising industry, gaming industry and even website design. Through 3D animation software, you can create real life computer generated animated imagery that will convey whatever message or information is required for that particular job.

With technology changing at an accelerated rate, the 3D animator would need to keep up to date with all the latest techniques, new tools and software, new methods and production techniques.

However, 3D animation, whilst it can be learned on a technical basis, requires much more if you want to pursue a career from it. Having creative and artistic tendencies are a must if you want to excel and become a recognised and sought after 3D animator.

You need to be intelligent with good creative abilities. Not only would you need to learn the technical side of the 3D animation industry, but you would need to be able to put those abilities into action. A love of technology is very important.

Some form of qualification would also be required if you wanted to command a high income from this line of work. What Is 3D Computer Animation Software?

Computer 3D animation software basically allows you to create moving pictures digitally which are in essence three-dimensional. These images then transform through and are referred to as “Frames”. When the pictures are made step by step one after the other in a gradual manner, then the image of motion is produced.
How we perceive 3D animation to be in motion.

It’s a bit like the moving books that we used to make as kids. You would draw pictures in a slightly different position on each sequential page and when you flicked the pages together it would like the character was moving.

The same happens in 3D animation. Motion is simulated in such a way that the eyes are made to believe that movement has really taken place, while really the sense of movement is only because the images are passing through at a very speedy rate.

Computer animation comprises of 2D and 3D animation.

2D animation is the traditional and well established form of animation. This is also more commonly known as hand-drawn animation. 3D animation relies more on computers to bring forth characters using a construct environment that in itself is three dimensional by nature. So with 3D animation, all characters are created on the computer and not by hand as you require the right 3d animation software and tools to make modifications.

There is a whole variety of 3D animation software available on the internet. Depending on if you are a beginner, intermediate or if you are more advanced and would like a career in the animation business. You just need to tailor your choice to your own personal needs.

The one thing that you will need to bear in mind is the complexity of some of the 3d animation software, so if you are new to animation, then it would be advisable to get your head around the basic principles of 2D before you actually go out and make a purchase.

There are many 3D animation software packages out there, but the top brands that are used by the professionals e.g. Maya, have very high end 3D computer graphics as well as a very powerful 3D modelling software package. It’s a great choice if you are well into 3D graphics because it is the leading entertainment industries choice.

Maya has two versions though, so make sure you pick the right one for you. Maya complete is not as powerful as Maya unlimited and is a lot less expensive. A much better choice for an intermediate or a much less experienced animator. The real beginner may like to try their hand with some free or more inexpensive software when getting their feet wet.

A useful article about 3D Animation Software for beginners inspired by Seth Avery

My aim was to create a Seth Avery’s Illusion Mage Review, and after reading the initial guide through, I found some interesting things.

I’ve wanted to try some simple 3d animation for some time but frankly hadn’t a clue where to start. Some of the 3d animation software was so expensive and I didn’t want to risk paying out a stack of cash only to find out it was that complicated that I’d never master it in a lifetime.

When I came across Illusion Mage, I liked the fact that they had a no quibble 60 day money back guarantee which gave me peace of mind, (a lot of the more expensive software didn’t offer this). I could try it out and if it was to complex for me or I just didn’t like it, then I could just ask for a refund.

The next thing that grabbed me and something I always look for was the step by step video training. I tend to pick things up a lot quicker if it’s visual. I’m not the sort of person who enjoys trawling through page after page of scripts and I simply haven’t got the time. I wanted some easy 3d animation software that was basically user friendly and I could actually create something that wouldn’t take weeks.

I didn’t want to compromise on quality even though I am a beginner. I wanted simple, but I also wanted professional animation software so I could progress in the future.

The 3d animation program video tutorials get you going fast, so you can be up and running straight away. There was one thing that seemed to be a bit of a sticking point amongst members, and that’s the time it takes for the downloads to complete. They are quite sizeable. However, I’m told this is due to the amount of material. You can go for the DVD (physical edition) in the member’s area if this is likely to be a problem for you.
Even though I prefer video tutorials, I know a lot of people prefer to read and there is also manual text in the 3d animation program.
